Yoga for Working From Home Online Workshop with Abacus Careers
I loved working with the team at Abacus Recruitment this month, as part of their ‘Stepping into 2022 with Style’ workplace wellbeing initiative!
On Wednesday I hosted the team for a ‘Yoga for Working From Home Online Workshop’ – a one hour, all levels workshop is designed to give participants the tools they’ll need to boost their working from home habits in 2022 :)
Through the workshop, through movement and a Q&A, we:
Outlined the benefits of better work/movement balance whilst #WFH
Encouraged better posture and strengthen the low back for #WFH
Encouraged staff to enjoy 2 mins of movement each hour to boost mental health
Decreased stress and increase mental wellbeing whilst working from at home
Increased postural awareness, strength and mobility
Highlighted importance of regular exercise on mental health
Helped gain accountability & structure for exercising
Motivated the workforce while having fun
The session was also recorded and accessible for repeating and/or catching up on our Abacus + Fitness Belfast: Dedicated Online Content Hub, alongside a range of other complementary resources for the team.
